Resolution Problems on SLES 9
I'm having a problem with a fresh install of SLES 9. I've taken an IBM Netvista (model # 8305-R8U), which previously was running Windows 2000 Server, and installed SLES 9, service pack 2. The install goes smoothly, but after it completes, the resolution is 640x480, with a refresh rate of 139 Hz. I've gone through all of the "change graphics settings" utilities that I can find, and it looks like what is displayed is the only option.

Granted, the graphics card isn't the best (it's onboard - Intel 845G/845GL/845GE according to BIOS), but I know that with Windows, it was running at a much higher resolution. Right now, it's so small, that I don't think that I can really work on it. I've looked on both SuSE's site and IBM's site, but I didn't find any drivers for the card.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Phil
