How do I Compile a Driver in Red Hat 9
I am new to Linux and was wanting to compile a driver but know the syntax to do it. The files I have are gpusbphy.o, inc(a directory), libgpushphy.a, makefile, phy.mk and src(a directory).

I understand I need to compile the file somehow using make and name it GSPNModem.

I am using Red Hat 9.0

Please understand that I am trying to learn and any help to do this is much appreciated.

Whiteskin made a very nice guide for how to compile for source located http://forums.techguy.org/unix-linux...rce-howto.html
You shouldn't need to do the ./configure just the make and make install aspects of it.
