ubunti Home page. One of the many Linux distributions available. I have no idea how to pronounce it!

Ubuntu is one of the Debian-based distros. The other major ones are RPM-based like Fedora, Suse and Mandriva. Then there is slackware and Gentoo which have different package systems.
