Issue using WebMin in Ubuntu 5.10
I installed this utility in order to help me configure my shorewall firewall, (after kind of failing to do it using the console) followed the instructions and just get a blank screen error when i try to use it through my web browser. I can still SSH into the server from other Pc's, but this tool is not working.

I installed the tar.gz version from the webmin website: http://www.webmin.com/download.html

Any tips or suggestions? Did I use the correct version? Is there another tool that might be better to use? Thanks!

I really don't have any experience with Shorewall, but I do have a bit of experience with WebMin, and it wasn't very positive. A lot of people I know say it's a great tool, but when I tried it, I didn't really like it too much.

If you're not set on using Shorewall, you could always use something like IPCop, which comes with a web interface.

If you want to get WebMin going, what is the error message you are getting?
