Debian linux
Hi i was told by someone that i would be able to get debian linux 3 to run on an old computer that i have the computer that i have is an 233 prossor and 64 mb of ram. could any one tell me where to get it.

Good Evening lufkinp6, I would suggest you try Puppy linux but you will have to have a formatted swap partition on your hard drive for it to load, unless you can get another 64 megs of RAM. There are reasons for this.
The new version 2.0 has just been released, it should work well well on that rig.

The file I suggest you D/L is the puppy-2.00-seamonkey.iso
This is a full system with all the programs, you will need to burn it to a CD with a decent ISO burning program.

This is actually a Live CD, but has an install to drive capability.

An alternative would be to load the hard drive on a different computer with sufficient memory and put the drive back.
