Kaffeine media player - sound
Suse 10
Using Kaffeine media player to play CD's. When I listen through headphones - music only comes out of the left earphone - right ear is all scratchy/static. Occurs with several headphones. Anyone see this or recommend a way to troubleshoot?

what sound card do you have ? is it a mono card ?
how is the sound card setup ? do you use alsa ?
do you have the jumper from the CD drive to the sound card pluged in right (or at all) ?
