Cool Initial Knoppix audit
I have a knoppix live cd. Version 3 point something......

I got it to boot and begin the audit

It stalls at the first line which reads as follows:

"Probing SCSI...pas16.0_"

It does not go anywhere after that, just the above statement followed with a blinking cursor

I know absolutely nothing about Linux or knoppix.

Just fooling around here........

What to do now?

My first guess is the computer has hardware that's newer than that version of Knoppix.
