Solved: Sharing to Windows
On my Ubuntu 5.10 machine, I have serveral folders I want to share to windows machines (some of which are music, apps, public, etc.). I have shared them with samba.

On the windows machine, I type //StergisServer (name of machine) and I get a connect as box. I have tried every name and password on the machine and it gives me unknown username or incorrect password. If I type //StergisServer/Music instead, it also gives me that error.

Any Ideas on how I might be able to access these directories?

Thanks,
J.S.

Yeah you should create samba users with the command: smbpasswd -a $USER
