Changing graphics driver on SUSE 10.1
Hey, I'm a total (i mean total) Linux novice and it set my graphics card on R200x (while its a 8500dv). Right now its all fine and stuff but when I scroll it lags and it got really annoying. Also i wanted to try out the XLG feature on SUSE.
So is there some way I can change the drivers for it? (because right now there's no graphical option of changing it (or as far as I've went through it).
Thanks.

I think you want to use sax2
http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Sax2

In order to run it, you need to move your system into runlevel3

so as a superuser, type init 3
once you've done that you can log in in text mode, run sax2, and then do init 5 to get back to the GUI.

You don't need to be in runlevel 3 to use SaX2. All you need to do is open YaST > Hardware> Graphics card and monitor.
Or, from a command line as root, just type sax2, and the same graphical utility will open.

Ok, but when i'm in Graphics card and monitor, i just have the ability to change the monitor stuff. It doesn't have tabs for changing the video card.
(also, lynch are you the admin from opensuse.us?)
