Can anyone recommend a good router for linux, i have just installed 'Kubuntu 6.06' as i don't know and being brand new to linux, any help is welcome.

Not quite sure what you want.
Do you want to turn your Linux box into a router or do you want recommendations to buy a router. Linux nor Windows is dependent on a router brand. Buy whatever you want. I prefer to use D-Link but some people like Netgear or Linksys. To each his own.

well said....although i have a linksys wired.....brand really does not matter...

Thanks to you both, i only asked incase linux had a preference, only been used to xp and just starting out on a new adventure with linux, so was not sure.
