Linux and 64bit?.

Hi,

Is there a distro that works better with a 64bit?, the reason i ask is for two weeks now i have been trying to get on the internet and failed drastically, it has been suggested that i look for a distro that works with 64bits.

Tried Netgear tech's still no go,so this is the last resort,as i have reformatted the hard drives thinking that there might have been problem there,still the same.

I now have six distro's on disc, pclinuxOS big daddy,linux junior,linux puppy,knoppix 5,Kubuntu and ubuntu,thinking they may have been bad downloads.

Your help is desperately needed.

Just about anything w/ 2.6 kernel works ok for x86_64 arch.

If you're looking to purchase, and have real support - Redhat WS/ES/AS 4.0 is 2.6 kernel, native support for 64 bit AMD arch. Rock solid.
