Hi I am some what new to Linux and would like to setup my linux machine so I can communicate with my XP machine. What I need help is with my smb.conf file on how to set it up. If someone could help me out I would be very greatful. I appreciate any help. Using fedora core 5

I set up my smb.conf as the following groupname the same on both, I put hosts allow = my XP ip address and netbios of the Linux machine name. I can't see my linux machine on my XP machine. I allowed my zone alarm to accept my linux machine's ip.

Can someone please help me out.
