Question Fc-6 ?
Hi,

I've just downloaded Fedora's fc-6-x86_64disc5.iso, put it in and started-up, but it does not boot, (computer goes straight to my installed OS's), can anyone tell me if the above is a livecd or have i got the wrong disk?, do i have to get 1-6 to install, i have used the K3B burner to burn, everything comes back O.K aswell as the MD5.

I have'nt had this problem before with other OS's.

So when you opened K3B you chose Tools-Burn CD Image, right?

You need all the discs for starters, and also check to make sure that your BIOS is set up to boot from CD first. Boot from disc one once you have it going.

I have a DVD and a CD drive. While my WinXP OEM Install disk can bootup from the CD drive to get to the Recovery Console, only the DVD drive is in my boot order of devices that boot up, so, any Live CD I must use the bootable device indicated by the BIOS. So, check out what boot devices are in your BIOS boot order, if you have more than one (as in my example).
