Question Video card drivers
Hey every one,

I'm interested in getting Linux drivers for my ATI Readon 9550 256mb video card.

Here are some of my specs:

linux ubuntu
p4 2.0ghz (32 bit, single core)
40 gig hard drive
(AGP) ATI Readon 9550 256mb

I'm having trouble trying to find which driver I need to download for my card.

Here is a direct link to the download page: Click here.

Now how do I found out which is right for my pc and video card?

Bigk

If you know how to manually install them on your Ubuntu system, then you'll want to get the one for Xorg, not Xfree86. Ubuntu uses Xorg.

Quote:
X.Org 6.8 Drivers
1 of 1 10.8MB 8.31.5 Nov. 15, 2006 Display Drivers for X.Org 6.8
If you want to use the auto-installer that ATI provides, click on the first link on that page:

Quote:
ATI Driver Installer 55.7MB 8.31.5 Nov. 15, 2006 Automated installer and Display Drivers for XFree86 4.3 and X.Org 6.7, 6.8, 6.9, 7.0, 7.1
Luck!
