Solved: How Do I Connect To Internet
Can anyone please help me...

have just installed ubuntu along side xp...but not sure how to connect to the internet...have read help files but still confused
Have verizon westell2200/Ethernet connection..DSL..

I've installed Linux Ubuntu along with windows xp also. Mine work when I first started the OS. I didn't have to tweak or configure any thing.

It depends on how your DSL works. If you have DHCP, then it will configure itself. If your modem uses PPPoE, then you need to use the pppoeconf tool.

You should just run pppoeconf from the terminal, then it walks you through the configuration and you put in what it needs.
