How do you manipulate Multiple Desktops in Gnome
I have FC-5.

I've used both desktop environments, KDE and Gnome. In KDE it's easy to alter multiple desktops. I usually right click on the desktop but you can get to it in other ways too. In Gnome I couldn't find a way to alter multiple desktops any where. Can someone please tell me how to access multiple desktops in Gnome.

Thanks,

royeo

Right click on the Desktop Switcher and select Preferences. There are not as many options concerning Multiple Desktops as there are in KDE.

I don't use Gnome as my primary GUI so someone might come in here with some better information

Be more specific about what you mean to do. You say alter and access which are different things. Accessing them is easy - just use the desktop switcher applet, as stated above. As far as 'altering' them, I'd need to know more specifically what you're wanting to do.
