Solved: gcc Inline Assembly
How do I invoke support for inline assembly with gcc? I'm using gcc 2.96, if that helps.

If this is in the wrong forum, please suggest another. I'm having trouble finding an appropriate forum for this.

Thanks.

Have you tried invoking:
1) man gcc
2) info gcc
in order to explore the parameters given when you compile C programs using gcc?

Google "invoke inline assembly gcc"

First hit explains it.
