X software
I was going to post this in the windows thread, but I bet many of you would know more about this.

I am looking for an X Client which is free, none of this trial business. The only one I can find is the cygwin, but I would prefer not to use that, since I wastes space with other linux commands I would never use (I would rather use an actual linux machine), and it is rather difficult to uninstall.

Any recomendations?

There are some alternative X clients mentioned in THIS Wikipedia article about the X system.

Luck!
