ubundu installation drive select
hello now i have writed the cd and working on it, now iam going to select the installation drive i have selected e: drive as installation drive its used 11gb and free 8 gb , if i select the e: will it format the whole drive? please answer ASAP

You should use Ubuntu to create two partitions first; one for itself (between 5 to 10Gb) and one for the Swap (say 1Gb) then tell the installer to use these two partitions.

You need to resize the hard disk to have the unallocated space for the creation of the two partitions.
