guys i really need your help
i have install mandriva linux 2006 and made dual booting with window xp sp2
now the problem is when i run mandriva it start but after checking the huge file it comes to ALSA now next what command should i used to run the mandriva linux just after the ALSA line the cursor comes into the blank area where i think i need to type a command to run the mandriva linux so guys i need your help to run

I would just tap the return key first.

No response then I type ctrl+c next

Still no response I would press ctrl+alt+backspace

At this point if I get the terminal mode then I know the xorg needs to be re-configured for the video. If still no response, say for half an hour, I will conclude my installation has gone south and start a re-install.

If that happens same again then I will do what I should have done in the first place--->check the MD5 sum of the iso image.
