Question Screwed Up Grub Conf in Fedora 6 i386
I tried to edit the file and hit a glich. Now if I attempt to do it, I get a message telling me another program may be trying to edit the conf file and that I need to delete the swap file. I can't delete the swap file because it is protected.

I don't know if I am putting the wrong command into terminal or if I screwed up the swap file.

Also, unrelated, but equally annoying, I don't seem to have a command option in my menus.

Thanks for any and all help!

Try to edit menu.lst in console as root to see if the changes can be implemented.

Think the terminal (or command prompt) is either in the Accessory or System icon. Accessory seems to be the trend to put console or terminal mode in.
