Mepis bluetooth PIN

I'm running Mepis 6.5 RC1 on my Dell D600, my problem is I'm trying to connect to my Motorola V3M phone via bluetooth. I can't figure out how to get Mepis to "broadcast" it's bluetooth PIN number (or ask for it) so I can repeat it on the phone and connect.
