how do i get rid of linux
I wanted to do a dual boot on my 30 gig machine with win me and linux redhat 7.1
well I had it all setup (I think Im a newbie when it comes to linux) but decided to put linux on another machine instead of mess up this main one
so i deleted all partitions formated and reinstalled win me and everything works in windows that i have noticed except for when i boot up linux comes up asking me if i want linux or dos
if i let it go into linux i get kernal panic and have to press power to shut down
can someone let me know how to completely remove all traces of linux from this machine. like i said i am new to linux so if you need more info plz let me know.

Linux is not there but the bootloader is. You should use your manufacturer's floppy to format the boot sector of your harddrive.

Rebuilding the Boot Record should the M$ way should do fine aswell, from a command prompt run fdisk /mbr and you'll be returned to your conventional Windows boot
