Question to all...
I'm getting a hand me down Dell P133, 32mb ram, 5 gb hd from my father. I'm interested in building a linux web server. I have never attempted anything like this and need some advice. For instance, where to start? Good sites for getting started? Will this machine work or will I need to upgrade? I pretty much know nothing about Linux but am very interested in learning. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The machine will run linux easily, it will probably run XWindows really slow though.

As far as what version to use...redhat is most common, mandrake is easy to install, slackware is powerful ... actually most big names are good and they each have their own place.
