Soooo Many Versions Help me find the right one
I am new to linux and now that i found out where to download the os i need to know what version would be best for a beginner so please tell me what is a good version for a beginner

I have had the best luck with Mandrake. I currently have version 7.0 but I think version 8.0 is out know. Very easy to install and configure.

Yea, for a beginner Madrake is probably the easiest to get up and running. Moderate level users probably use Redhat, but for production alot of people use Slackware.
