Solved: SUSE KVM issues
I am setting up a SUSE machine but im trying to hook it up to the monitor, mouse and keyboard through a KVM switch with a windows machine. The KVM works perfectly on the windows machine but it doesnt even recognize the SUSE machine, as in the online indicator light never comes on even though the machine is on. Any ideas or workarounds?

The KVM is an iogear GCS634U.

I'm kinda wondering why you need a kvm at all. Why not install vncserver and putty in?

Anyway, It may be that your screen resolution on the suse box isn't acceptable to the kvm, so you need to find one that works. I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work.

Well I actually just got it fixed. It was a problem with my wireless keyboard mouse combo. It still gives me a few little issues but in general works. Thanks for the help though.
