programming for linux
i have been interested in creating programs for linux or even my own distro, but i dont know ere to look for sources and information on how linux operates and/or how to create my own distro. can anyone point to any good websites or books for this information? thanks in advance.

Also, you might want to Google for Damn Small Linux, Slax and Puppy Linux. These are just a start, I'm sure Linux users will give you loads more ideas.
