openSuse 10.2 bootloader options
I am trying to install openSuse 10.2 on my computer. I have two hard drives- a small one (the one I plan on installing Linux on (master)), and a larger one (With Windows on it). When I got to installation options when installing openSuse, it said it wanted to modify my Windows partitions on hdb (my larger drive). I don't want it to touch that hard drive in any way, and I can't understand a lot of what it is telling me (too many unfamiliar acronyms, different Linux partitions, etc.).

Is it possible for me just to unplug my larger hard drive, install openSuse on my smaller one, plug the larger drive back in as Slave, and modify the bootloader on the small drive to let me choose which drive to boot off of?

Install Linux and keep Windows untouched like a virgin?

It is in one of the links in my signature. There is a method specially for users with two hard disks.
