I downloaded 7.0.4 Ub iso and made a cd but
when I load it I get a command screen. I'm sure that I downloaded the Live.iso because I did it twice but neither one is a live version. What am I missing here? Feisty Fawn does have a live cd right?

If you just burned the iso to a cdr then you did it wrong - you must burn it as an image, not data, or it won't work.

I used Nero 6 and chose Bootable CD. The CD loaded just fine but I would get to the Caldera
cmd flashing cursor. I have many linux live cd's that boot right into the gui. But for some reason which I have not explored (in fact, after starting this thread, and except for answering email, I've not been on the keyboard since), this cd starts out as if it is the alternative download. I don't know, I'm going to try and download the "live" version again and see what happens.
