Slackware 12 question
During first boot Slackware correctly detects all my hardware, but after rebooting lsmod don't show some modules like ALSA or secondary network card, and of course both devices not work. What is the problem? Thanks

Hi LewisL,

Welcome to TSG!

Does Slackware 12 come with ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) - An audio library (and kernel level API) for Linux? What is the name of the library? If Slackware comes with it, it should be installed on your system.

With regard to your network cards, you may have to install the card's drivers - get them both (if different) from the respective manufacturer's website.

Look for Slackware 12 documentation on installation for information about these topics and how to handle the problem you face.
