how can i play mp3 in ubuntu 7.04
Hi

Does anyone know how to play or which player in ubuntu plays mp3.

Look here and use the find in page browser search function for "mp3".

Open up a terminal and do the following:

sudo apt-get install xmms*


that will download and install xmms media player for Ubuntu. It will play mp3's.

You can use XMMS, VLC, and RhythmBox (I think that's what it's called) to play MP3s, Ogg, WMA, and AAC (I think) files. Not all three apps will support all those formats but all formats will be covered by any combination of those apps.
