Which Linux distro for n00b?
Buddy of mine is looking to load up a spare machine to play with Linux, and he's wondering what distro to use. Any suggestions as to one that would be easy for him to get started on?

I've played with Knopp a bit (in the MythTV bundle) but I don't know that that would be all that simple for him to muddle around in...

TIA

quickest / easiest distro to use is Ubuntu. Hugely popular (as far as linux goes!) and gets more and more support every day. Have fun!
