Linux Certification question
I'm currently learning UNIX/Linux OS. Also, planning on taking a certification sometime next year.

The question is should I take the RHCE or CompTIA Linux+?

Any suggestions.......

Also, have you seen the price for doing the whole RHCE?

I believe the Linux+ Certification is only $190.00 where as the RHCE Certification is about $390 to $500.

For the beginners to 6-months experience, I believe Linux+ is a better choice. However, it is not yet recognized by the IT industry, at least not now.

Not sure where you got your RHCE info, but according to http://www.redhat.com/training/rhce/courses/ each exam costs $750 alone... (and they offer curriculum for $2000+ =)...
