Knoppix Live 5.1 Question
When I boot up Knoppix Live 5.1 and have an external hdd attached...If I try to copy and paste
from system > external hdd I get an error message "you do not have write permission" huh?

Most likely the problem is your are trying to write to a NTFS partition, Linux can read NTFS but it cannot write to NTFS natively or atleast older kernels can not.

Try checking out this site.
