swapping Xp for linux...
hey, ive recently decided to get rid of ole' windows and trade it for linux (damn small linux) it should make my laptop quicker and i want to learn to use it anyways.

how do i go about installing it thought? i have downloaded it, but ive heard in order to install it i need to have a floppy drive or a CDROM. Unfortunatly i dont have a floppy drive and my cd rom is broken, i dont really want to a memory stick either.

is there any other solution out there?

cheers
rick

Memory Stick? Like USB Thumb drive?

If that is what you mean then I guess you would have to get a USB media drive (floppy, CD), and use that.

Using an operating system is different from marriage.

Polygamy is not a sin.

There is no law against sleeping with both Windows and Linux together.
