Cool Solved: Ubuntu for gaming
I really have not tried ubuntu before, but i'll give it a try. Anyway, I know that most games run on windows, and if I install Winex in Ubuntu, is it possible that I can install games, such as unreal tournament, FEAR, BF2, etc? Do you guys think it'll run the same as windows, or this OS is not compatible?

Here is the Linux Gamers' Game List of 371 games.

You can also try Ultimate Ubuntu 1.5 here which is gamer-oriented.

Well, you can always check the wine application database and see if that game is supported by wine. If it is, then yes Linux can run FEAR.

Peace...
