Booting linux from an iPod
If you change or wipe the ipod's system file and replace it with that of a linux distro can you boot the whole OS via USB to another computer?

Why do you seem to want to trash your iPod's works when it clearly looks like what you are proposing is to use your iPod as a substitute for a USB flash drive.

Why not just get a USB flash drive and leave your iPod intact?
