Hi rev1976,
A good place to ask this question and get expert help would be on Red Hat Forums.
I do know from running Fedora Core 3 that usually installation is via installing a .rpm file. A good way to do this is utilizing the Synaptic Package Manager if there is a .rpm file available in a Red Hat repository for DB2.
As with any database, make sure you are aware of the storage media you are going to install on, i.e. such as a RAID mirror if necessary.
