booting
I partitioned my hard drive down the middle, and installed Windows XP.
Now it only boots in Windows. How can I get it to boot in Linux again?
What I'd really like is an option, so when I turn on the computer it asks me if I want to boot in Windows or boot in Linux.
Help.

you have to edit your boot loader in linux or window xp. I like to do it in linux, put your linux bootable disk to boot your linux operating system and edit your grub file. I do not know what version of linux software you using. But you need to edit your grub and make sure your linux boot loader detect window xp.

For a clean install, simply install windows xp first and ubuntu second. You'll get the question about which OS you want to use at startup.
