New ubuntu user needs help.
Hey, I just installed wine and ubuntu and I need some help.

Ive been using windows Xp pro for gaming and wanted to try somthing diffrent im fully aware that linux isent the greatest os for gaming but from what I used I really liked everything.

And all the games I play were supported by wine and reported in working order but heres where I run into problems. I play world of warcraft mostly and I installed it and it started up but ran Realllyy slow like lagged the into cini and was unplayable.

So can someone tell me how I can get my games to run on ubuntu?

All I play is

Battlefield-2
Wow
Tf2
cs 1.6
Wc3

and other misc games

Hi Youuuu...

If you got a game even to open in wine, then you have done something. I could not get a mpeg video to load in wine.

I think linux (ubuntu at least), is not good for gaming. Get some info in ubuntuforums.org about gaming...

Windows would be in very deep feces if linux was gamer-friendly.
