kde 3.5 one resolution problem
hello hows it going everyone. im very new to linux. and i have mandriva loaded on.i love it personally .but theres one problemi cant set the screen resolution to allow a bigger screen? i dont mind personally but my dads eyes arent the greatest? would anyone know where i could find the drivers... its a ati. but them drivers wouldnt work

Well, if you want to shrink your screen's resolution (i.e. make everything larger), that shouldn't require too much work. Try using a standard resolution such as 800x600, or 640x480 if you really want the picture big. You should be able to set the desired resolution in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf. If you don't know how to edit it, post it here and someone will explain it.

He should be able to adjust the screen resolution using KDE system administration or user preferences tools.
