for me windows.
i need to be able to access every thing right away and use anything that mainstream users use.
linux is free.. so i have that to.
i like all three OS's so i bought a mac.
put it into three partitions..
now i have all three
linux and mac are oh so similar.

I think its good that the best thing anyone can say about windows is its compatibility, when its the only thing microsoft isn't responsible for?

A point that made me not want to get Vista, why should I save money to upgrade my computer or buy a new one so I can run Vista when only the ($$$)premium version has all the cool due dads and the OS in whole is reported to be "buggy"?

heh I like the way people pretend that if they upgraded windows, they would pay money lol
I dont know anyone who has or would even consider paying for windows. Unless of course they had no choice because it came with a new pc.
