Solved: How do I install a bin file?

There are no instructions. The file downloaded is .bin
I'm using Ubuntu 7.10

At a guess, what you want to do is make the file executable (sudo chmod 777 file.bin) then run the file from the directory it's in (sudo ./file.bin).
