What version should I go with?
I am really new to the Linux OS's. I would like to see if any one would help on what version to choose for a first timer.

I want to setup a Web Server using Linux and Apache. Not sure where to start or what all my options are.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ubuntu is a good distro.
Relitively easy to configure.
You can install apache, mysql and PHP from the package manager.

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I have very little knowledge of Linux. Apache is included in the install of Ubuntu?
Is this something like adding Windows components?

Ubuntu has a package manager that can be used to download
and install software packages from software repositories
on the web.
You can select from several repositories.
Apache and much more can be installed.
I beleive the server edition of ubuntu alredy has apache installed.
Please see here.
