Can't open a folder
I created a new folder in which to store HTML pages i had constructed. But now when i decide to edit an html page in the new folder i can't gain access to them?

I go to the main menu -> kwrite -> File -> Open and select the new folder by highlighting it and finally click on Open. But all i get is an error message as follows:

Error Kwrite
The file file:///home/username/new_folder could not be loaded, as it was not possible to read from it.
Check to see if you have access to this file.

Could anyone tell me how to resolve this problem please.

Look at the permissions on the directory you created for the HTML pages and make sure they are set correctly. Also, see what the owner of the directory is. If the directory is owned by root, and not your id, that could pose problems if the permissions are 700 (rwx------) or 600 (rw-------).

Peace...
