Floppy Disk loaded OS?
I have an older Toshiba computer with a bad CDrom and a new HDD. I need to load an OS onto the computer, but as mentioned, the CDrom is bad. My only option is to load SOMETHING onto the computer using my FDD, then possibly download something from the internet after.

The Toshiba is a spare computer that I need to use while my HP is in the shop for repairs. I don't want to put any $$$ into it either, so I won't be buying a new CDrom.

Does anyone know of a free OS that is FDD loaded?

I do now. Search the web for "Linux on floppy" (w/o the quotes) and you'll see what I learned.
