need OS tro just run camera software..ideas??
I would like an operating system to run an older computere (amd 2100) just to run security camera software. dont need internet or anything other than hooking up video card and running the software. (viewmax digital dvr) dont want to give microsoft any more money ! any help or ideas would be greatly appeciated!!!

PCLinuxOS.

I think the camera software you'll be looking for is called wxCam (not sure).

You just want to hook up a security camera to capture video, right?
