Cannot install Fedora 8 from Live Image
I am able to boot my PC from the Fedora Live CD I burned, but when I clicked on "Install to hard drive," on the Fedora desktop, I couldn't get past the first few pages of options before the application hangs indefinitely (I've tried waiting it out). That was the original problem; in the past hour or so, things have mysteriously worsened, as clicking the application does nothing at all. Aside from this, the fedora environment on the cd works just fine on my computer (I have XP, by the way); in fact, I'm using it right now.

What could be the problem?

Is there a reason you're still using Fedora 8? Fedora 9 is out.
