Python-RAM Disk

Hi,
I am currently doing a project on a search engine in Ubuntu and my module is to load the indexes or the search results on RAM DISK for faster access. I have to use Python as a programming language to load the commands on the RAM DISK as the Terminal cannot be used every time.
I am new to this language (Python).
