Network card not working
Hi all,

I am having problem with my network card. I have got KNOPPIX 5.0 Live CD and I am booting my system from it... Every thing seems to be working but my Ethernet card is not working. During boot, it detects my Eth0 and Eth1 both in background ... It is treating Eth0 as Wireless and Eth1 as Cabled ... I am using DSL. ,,, Interesting thing is that the Ethernet card light is not ON during whole bootup. Please advice.

Ethernet card is Realtek 8101 builtin in my laptop machine HP DV6599.

Thanks in advance

do an "ifconfig -a>card.txt" and post card.txt copy it to a usb drive so you can transfer it to windoze
